This illustrates the problems with radioactive waste and is one of the worst examples of public information. No symbol of radiation, no series of images, no alternative language. If you do not know how to read English, our calendar, how long a foot is, this sign is useless.
And how big are the chances that those things will remain the same over the time it takes for the radiation disappear.
CAUTION: There’s radioactive material beneath your feet.
